Set in the lush landscape of the Belbo Valley in Piedmont, Italy, this farmhouse and adjoining barn, are being rescued from their current state of ruin. A new dual-pitched roof references traditional Piedmontese construction with re-purposed wood beams from the former roof resting on newly repaired thick stone walls. All construction material for the house is locally sourced among the skillful carpenters and manufacturers of the region.
